Hi there! This is my latest work... Sayuki! She was created using a 11.5 inch vinyl Barbie Basics #5 doll by Mattel. All factory paint was fully removed and she was given a full facial repaint with beautifully soft colouring! I hope you like her. She is currently for sale via ebay... check my website for the link.... [link]
Thanks for looking!
I am not affiliated in any way with the Mattel company. I simply use their beautiful dolls as a canvas for my own artistic expression.
She's lovely. That's my favorite of the barbie basics face molds. Definitely looks the most actually asian. The kimono and her eyes are just beautiful. I so want to learn how to do eyebrows that look like the ones on your dolls.
Thankyou sweetie! Yep, she does have one of the nicer face molds and really versatile because she can be painted to look more asian or painted western and she still looks lovely. Oh, the eyebrows... I tell ya my dear, I have been painting eyebrows on dolls for so many years now, so I guess its just practice, practice and moaaaaar practice! And sometimes I still ain't happy with em! hee hee! It comes with the territory I guess!
so with the lea facemould you could paint them either asian or caucasian?
i take it the benetton osaka barbie has the lea/kayla facemould!?
