Sabine - Before and After by IvyHeartDesigns Sabine - Before and After by IvyHeartDesigns
Sabine was created using a Monster High Draculaura doll as the base. All factory paint was completely removed and she was given a full facial repaint in artist acrylics and sealers. I wanted to keep her gorgeous hair this time, so I took down the ponytail and heat straightened her hair. I then washed, conditioned and style cut it into soft layers but still left it long.

I am not affiliated with Mattel or any other doll company. I simply use their gorgeous dolls as a canvas for my own artistic expression! :)

Oh WOW! I LOVE those green eyes! So, you used acrylic paints? I am working on my very first re-paint but I am using the watercolor pencils and pastels...and am having some trouble with it. I have been considering to start over and just try using the paints instead. Thanks so much for sharing her with us. She is very beautiful!

Thanks so much sweetie, I'm glad you like her. I work pretty much with just acrylic paints and a little pastel for eyeshadows. I've never really used watercolour pencils, so I couldn't really tell you much about them but I LOVE acrylics! No matter what medium you use, it always takes time and lots of practice but if you dedicate the time to it, you will see great results very quickly! Have fun with it! :huggle:

May I ask you what kind (brand) of paint to do you use to paint the face?
I have never tried to repaint but I want to try.
