Ruby - OOAK Draculaura Repaint by IvyHeartDesigns Ruby - OOAK Draculaura Repaint by IvyHeartDesigns
The lovely Ruby was created using a Monster High Draculaura doll as the base. All factory paint was completely removed and she was given a full facial repaint in artist acrylics and sealers. I also removed all her hair down to the scalp and permanently attached a gorgeous carrot red wig to give her a totally new look!

Currently available for sale here...

gorgeous!!

is it possible to make the reroot look natural, yet look  fiery at the same time if you were doing a reroot in red saran?

when repainting dolls with large eyes, what is the best way to prevent "wall eyes"?

what is the best doll hair if you wanted to have a reroot with in - your - face platinum blonde, without making it look too barbie like?

Well, I personally prefer Katsilk Saran hair and they have a lovely platinum blonde in that range. Its not flyaway, holds a perm really well and styles quite well. Thats just a personal thing for me. Here's a couple of websites that sell doll hair and you could have a look around...

btw, can you boil perm the ends of the doll hair without affecting the rest of the hair?

Thankyou! Yes, all you need to do is put the ends in rollers and only dip the ends in the boiled water. That should work fine!

Ah yes, I havn't done that type of sculpting before but I remember an artist I used to follow years ago used a dremel tool to change facial sculpting. Are you going to try this? Make sure you post some pics if you do!

Ooh, I just emailed you via Ebay, but just found you here, sorry for the double emails regarding this. My daughter has a MH doll she would like to get a wig for and she LOVES the one you have on this doll. If you wouldn't mind, could you email me (chriswig1@hotmail.com) with the style name/number of this wig? I know it is found on Monique.com and it is the carrot red, but she likes the bangs etc (or did you cut those yourself?) Lastly, what glue do you use to permanently attach the wig? Thank you so much!!
