Rosalind - OOAK Barbie Repaint by IvyHeartDesigns Rosalind - OOAK Barbie Repaint by IvyHeartDesigns
Rosalind has to be one of my Fave girls... this sculpt (Lea) is always so nice to work with. She was created using a Barbie Basics #5 Model. As always, the factory paint was fully removed and she was given a full facial repaint. I also took her hair down, washed and conditioned it and then gave it a soft feathery style with some bangs/fringe. :)

I am not affiliated in any way with the Mattel Company. I simply use their lovely dolls as a canvas for my own artistic expression!

would braiding the doll's hair ruin it?

on some of the older lea/ kayla facemoulds with larger eyes, is it possible to paint largish exotic eyes?

If the face mold doesn't have too deeply molded eye areas, you can pretty much paint whatever size eye you like.

she's beautiful!
BTW, would sanding the features make the doll too fragile?
