Adelaide - OOAK Doll Repaint by IvyHeartDesigns Adelaide - OOAK Doll Repaint by IvyHeartDesigns
Adelaide was created using a My Scene 'Madison' 11.5 inch vinyl doll by Mattel. All factory paint was fully removed and she was given a full facial repaint in artist acrylics and sealers. I also washed and conditioned her hair and then cut and styled it into a gorgeous sexy shoulder length bob. She is currently for sale via auction... if anyone is interested, you can find her auction link on my website here...

Thanks so much for looking!

I am not affiliated in any way with the Mattel company. I simply use their wonderful dolls as a canvas for my own artistic expression! :)

i was wondering, there were those sports themed dolls which were out in the late nineties. if you were to rebody a my scene doll with thier bodies, would it look wierd you know because (a ) of the face and (b) because of the lips?

I love the level of detail. What brand of paints do you use and what size brushes?

Thanks so much! I use Jo Sonya Artist Acrylics.. absolutely LOVE them and they are wonderful quality! I use lots of different brushes for various things but for the fine detail I have 20/0 size in acrylic. I find that acrylic keeps the fine point better than the natural fibres. I think you can even get 30/0 brushes too but if you need something finer, you can always cut away some of the bristles with a pair of sharp nail scissors... works wonderfully!
